Opera

Opera Themes can dynamically transform the look and atmosphere of the browser. We translated that digital feature into a series of natural worlds, moving through cool autumn and winter tones, fresh spring greens, morning dew and warm sunlight.
The film needed to explain a feature that lives inside the interface without becoming a conventional product demonstration. Each theme had to feel distinct, while remaining part of one coherent visual story.
We treated every theme as a shift in season, light and atmosphere. Colour moved beyond the browser and into the surrounding world, giving the interface a more physical and emotional presence. The film was created by a large 3D team. My role was to supervise the CG production, help shape the visual stories and make sure the artists had the context, feedback and support needed to execute their part with clarity.
Instead of presenting Themes as a cosmetic interface feature, we gave each one its own light, weather and atmosphere.
Cool palettes became autumn air and winter stillness. Spring themes opened into fresh greens, low sunlight, and morning dew. The browser remained at the centre, but its colours seemed to spill into the world around it—creating a natural, distinctly Scandinavian visual language.
