Financial services are usually explained through charts and numbers. Private banking needed a different approach: a way to talk about money and services that feels personal, is easy to follow, and matches the class of client it speaks to.
mBank
mBank private banking serves the bank's wealthiest clients, giving them a personal advisor and a tailored approach to managing their money. Luke Szyszka led the visual identity of the service end to end, from a hero animation and web app to a printed album, built to speak to premium clients in an attractive, easy to read way.

I've owned the full visual concept, splitting the private banking story into a set of distinct worlds, each with its own character but tied together by one consistent visual language. These worlds became the foundation for the animation, the web app, and the printed album.
Following the money, not the numbers.
Instead of explaining private banking through data, the concept follows the journey of a client's money through the service. Each stage became its own visual world, built to explain what the bank does in a way anyone can read at a glance.
One language, many worlds.
Every world got its own scene, but all of them share the same visual language: soft rendered forms, a calm colour palette and a touch of gold. The result reads as premium and warm at once, never cold or technical.
These worlds first came to life as a hero animation explaining how private banking works. Key scenes from the film became the main category animations inside the web app, and separate renders were used as large chapter illustrations across the app and the printed album.

A folder built to feel like the service itself.
The visual world carried through into print. The album comes in a black folder closed with a cord and two metal studs, with the mBank and private banking marks foil stamped in gold. It's a small detail, but it tells you what you're holding before you open it.
Inside, the same soft rendered worlds return alongside the bank's history as a timeline and a map of its branches across Poland.

Real clients, painted by hand.
Between chapters, the album carries portraits of real private banking clients, each paired with their own words about the service. Every portrait was hand painted, so the album feels personal rather than like a photo shoot. The bank later gifted the original paintings to the clients they portrayed, a small gesture that captures the whole idea behind the project: private banking built around the individual, down to the smallest detail.
